Our Financial Planning Process

Financial planning services are offered only through approved Financial Planners of MML Investors Services, LLC.

Engagement Meeting 

The Financial Planning process starts with an Engagement Meeting. During the engagement meeting, the adviser will gather information regarding the client’s wants, needs and goals as well as establish the type of relationship they will foster with the client.

Data Gathering Meeting

During the Data Gathering Meeting, advisers are having a deeper conversation to gain a full understanding of the client’s financial situation and goals are developed and reinforced.

Analyze Data

The adviser then analyzes the data, using approved financial planning software, and develops recommendations. This step may also include a strategy check-in to make sure the developing plan matches the client’s unique desires. 

04 & 05

Plan Presentatation & Implementation

During the Plan Presentation step, the advisor reviews the plan and provides initial written recommendations, followed by the execution of agreed upon strategies and product implementation during the Implementation step.

Financial plan recommendations can be implemented with the advisor of your choosing. Implementation of specific products or services may result in commissions or fees outside of the financial planning fee.
